Swimming
If it’s a cool dip you’re looking for, visit any one of our public beaches. Thirteenth Lake, Garnet Lake, Loon Lake, Brant Lake, and Schroon Lake.
Boating
Marinas on Schroon Lake, Brant Lake, and Loon Lake are ready to rent you a vessel for the day, or the week! Boat owners can launch at NYSDEC ramp sites at Brant Lake or on southern Schroon Lake in Pottersville.
Forest Bathing
It’s a thing. Getting back to nature and surrounding yourself with flora and fauna is a wellness trend from way back that’s gaining ground with today’s traveler. Practice mindfulness with maples. Let your mind wander like the trail through the trees. Head upstate and meditate.
Rail Riding
Redefining ‘pedal to the metal’ Revolution Rail is an active tour through the region, on decommissioned tracks. Take in your Adirondack surroundings as you cycle along (and over) the Hudson River, and other regional routes.
Golf
The closest courses are Cronin’s in Warrensburg, the Town of Schroon Lake Golf Club in Schroon Lake, and the Sagamore Golf Course in nearby Bolton Landing.
Horseback Riding
The Circle B Ranch and Riding-Hy Ranch offer horseback riding through trails and forests in the North Warren Wilds. Get saddled up and set out on an equestrian adventure.
Camping
RVs, trailers, and tents all have space to spread out. Claim your site and set up the perfect base camp for Wild activities, barbecued goodness, and woodsmoke. Don’t forget to pack the hammock!

Fresh produce, baked goods, and crafts are waiting for you to stop in to the market(s) throughout the North Warren Wilds. Farm-to-table flavors are here by the bushel.
Scenic Drives
Get behind the wheel, feel the wind in your hair and take a drive along the lakefront, or criss-cross over the Hudson and admire the Adirondack views.
