Pottersville
Wild rambles.
A hundred years ago people came to Pottersville to seek escape and recreation at an exclusive resort. Today, Scaroon Manor sits as a 60 site camping destination with vestiges of its former resort glory. A stone amphitheatre, a stage once graced by Gene Kelly, sprawling grounds and the enduring truth that this area is designed to welcome and delight.
Nature puts on a spectacle here at Natural Stone Bridge and Caves, where kids and adults alike can experience awe at the largest marble cave entrance in the eastern United States.
The sweet spot between Schroon and Loon.
Stop in to Café Adirondack for fresh seafood, or hit the Black Bear for open mic night. There’s boat access to Schroon Lake with access to the Schroon River, an angler’s delight. Climb Kipp Mountain for a beautiful view of loon lake and, well, most of Warren County to the south. Satisfy your sweet tooth at Stone Bridge Ice Cream, and try clamping on Brill Island.
